Character of Teaching

Teaching consistent with scripture

Of True Of False

And that from a child thou had known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

To the law and the testimony, if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Note: In Acts 18:13 we have this said of Paul: “This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the Law.” The test for consistency must be applied with a tolerance for different views at least equal to the differences evidenced within the Bible.
