Problems

This was likely the best guess of Orson Pratt as to what cureloms were.

In order to make this criticism work, cureloms must be mammoths. They very well could be mammoths, but that does not mean that they are. Other animals have been proposed as cureloms. A couple of those proposals could be found here.
