Evidences that Christ Visited the Americas

Parent page: Book of Mormon

In the Book of Mormon, Christ visited the people on the American continent soon after his death and resurrection. This is recorded across 3 Nephi 8-29, with Christ appearing in chapter 11. This was a novel concept when Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon.

Compiled from the book “Christ in the Americas” by Michael Linford Ph.D., here are amazing parallel accounts from North, Central and South American Indian legends. These legends are evidence Jesus did visit people on the American continent. It is the author's opinion that Jesus visited multiple locations, and the evidence here backs that up.
