Description

Like it or not, we are at war! Parenthood unavoidably propels us to the prestigious rank of generals in God’s army, and we are facing off with an enemy who never sleeps, never slows, and never slips. As guardians of the home, we must stand boldly at the head of their own  mini militia in defending truth and right and producing latter-day warriors who can resist evil.
This empowering book provides critical strategies for deflecting the devil’s malicious agenda by creating strong gospel armor and a spiritual refuge.  Day by day, brick by brick, through small and simple means we can fortify faith and our family fortress.

From the Author

It has been Debbie Bowen’s privilege to serve as co-commander in chief, alongside her husband, in raising ten latter-day stripling warriors–six sons and four daughters. Together, they have spent more than three decades teaching and training their little band of soldiers and have had ample opportunity to test the techniques and strategies discussed in this book. As difficult as it can sometimes be, they consider their calling as generals in God’s army and their divine mandate to raise righteous children to be their greatest mission and most important battle.
